Instruction manual

When using screwdriver bits, a bit holder should always

be  used.  Use  only  screwdriver  bits  that  fit  the  screw

head.

TORQUE ADJUSTMENT [F1]

The screwdriver has a step torque control (6), in order to

avoid to damage screw-heads or bits.

By  turning  the  torque  control  (6),  you  can  set

the  necessary  step  from  1  (easily-to-turn  screws)  to

the  maximum  available  torque  setting  (hard-to-turn

screws).

If  the  torque  adjustment  setting  is  not  suitable  for  the

screw,  continue  adjusting  until  the  proper  torque  is

obtained.

For drilling purposes, turn the torque control (6) on

last step “drilling”. In this setting the slip clutch is inactive

and the torque is maximum.

Always select the appropriate torque setting for the work.

The correct torque depends on the type and hardness

of  the  material,  on  the  type  and  length  of  screws,  on

specific working requirements.

ATTENTION! The tool must be at a

standstill when you set the torque.

SWITCHING ON / OFF [F2]

Brief operation

Press the On / Off switch (3) and then let go again.

Continuos operations

Switching On

Press the On / Off switch (3) and then push the lock-on

button (4).

Switching Off

Press and release the On / Off switch (3).

STEPLESS SPEED CONTROL

The  machine  runs  with  variable  speed

between 0 and maximum depending on the

pressure applied to the On / Off switch (3).

Tool speed is increased by increasing pressure on the On

/ Off switch (3). Light pressure results in a low rotational

speed thus allowing smooth, controlled starts.

Do not load the machine so heavily that it comes to

a standstill.

CHANGING THE ROTATIONAL

DIRECTIONS [F3]

WARNING! Operate the rotational

direction switch (2) only at a

standstill.

With  the  rotational  direction  switch  (2),  the  rotational

direction of the machine can be switched (when the

On / Off switch (3) is depressed, the rotational direction

switch (2) is locked).

Right rotation

Press the rotational direction switch (2) through to the

right stop (for drilling, driving screws, etc).

Left rotation

Press the rotational direction switch (2) through to the

left  stop  (for  loosening  and  unscrewing  screws  and

nuts).

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

Before any work on the device itself,

pull the mains plug.

Always  keep  the  tool  and  the  ventilation  slots  (if

present) cleaned. Regular cleaning and maintenance of

the appliance will ensure efficiency and prolong the life

of your tool.

If  the  tool  should  fail  despite  the  rigorous

manufacturing and testing procedures, the repair should

be carried out by an authorized IVT customer service.

Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws tight, to be sure the

tool is in safe working condition.

Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.

Use only original spare parts. Parts not produced

by manufacturer may cause poor fit and possible injury.

Store the tool in a dry room out of reach of kids and

away from any flammable material.

Never wet the device or spray water on it!
