The function of the sound attenuator is to reduce the sound level in 

the system.

 Inspection

Check that the baffle elements are intact and have clean surfaces. Take action if 

necessary.

 Cleaning

Vacuum and/or wipe all surfaces with a damp cloth. In the event of stubborn 

dirt, use a mild, alkaline detergent.
