Trouble shooting:
Attached is a list of problems. Please try and address these issues prior to contacting
the service center. If the problem is not solved contact Ituran service center at *324
from any mobile phone. The service center will be at your service 24 hours a day 7
days a week. In any case, do not open the unit or try to fix it by yourself.
1.
Problem
:
The unit can not be turned on
Action
: The battery may be weak or discharged. Charge the battery and try again.
It is recommended to charge the battery for at least 3 hours
2.
Problem
:
No audio
Action
: Increase volume by pressing on the
icon and then use the volume
control slider. In addition, check the system setting (Main System menu
Volume).
3.
Problem:
No satellite reception (No GPS signal).
Action
: Satellite reception may be blocked by buildings. In addition verify that
the battery is fully charged. There may not be GPS reception when the battery is
low
4.
Problem: Error message box appears on the display
Action
: This occurs when the SD card is not properly placed in the slot. Take the
SD card out, replace it and press the Reset button. When using maps of other
countries (installed on a SD card), please Exit the navigation application prior to
taking the SD card out of the slot.
5.
Problem: Display does not respond correctly
Action
: This display may not be calibrated. Exit the navigation application to the
main system menu, select system and press calibration. Follow the instructions
carefully.
