PRECAUTIONS FOR DISASSEMBLY
Before disassembling any part of the printer, be sure the power is turned off.
Disconnect the external power supply, the communication cable, and the cash
drawer cables.
Caution:
The controller board can easily be damaged by static electricity.
Observe ESD precautions, wear a grounded wrist strap and use a
static mat or other protected work surface. Do not place the printed
circuit boards directly on the printer or floor.
NECESSARY TOOLS
Caution:
Using the wrong tools may cause personal injury or damage the
printer. Be sure to use the proper tools when maintaining or servicing
the printer.
The following list provides the necessary tools to properly maintain the Series
80 Printer.
