In order to avoid malfunctions, do the following as soon as possible:
f turn the knob on the off/unlock position;
f
turn the "Hot Water" knob along the scale ;
f
turn the knob on the normal working position (Summer or
Winter along the scale ).
Warnings for servicing
All servicing operations and gas conversions MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY QUALIFIED TECHNI-
CIANS, in compliance with the norms and laws in force (see an indicative list on page 4). Moreo-
ver, MAINTENANCE operations must be carried out in compliance with the manufacturer pre-
scriptions and with the laws and rules presently in force, for the parts not mentioned in this
handbook .
Natural draught "C" models must be subjected to maintenance at least once a year.
A careful servicing is always a guarantee of safety and energy saving.
Normally, it will be necessary to
execute the following operations:
f
Remove any possible oxidization from burners and electrodes;
f
Remove the scale from the exchangers;
f
Check integrity and stability of the ceramic fibre coverings in the combustion chamber and proceed
eventually to substitution;
f
Check the boiler ignition, switching off and operation;
f Check the water and gas connections tightness;
f
Check the gas consumption at the minimum and maximum output;
f Verify that safety devices are correctly working;
f
Verify the correct functioning of control and adjusting devices;
f
Verify the correct functioning and the integrity of the flue system and of the relevant terminals and
accessories
f In case of works or servicing of the structures placed near the above mentioned ducts and /or de-
vices and their accessories, switch off the boiler;
f
Do not leave any inflammable tanks and/or substances in the installation room;
