the boiler has over-
heated and the
Safety Thermostat
has triggered
Turn the knob on the unlock
position until the red lamp
turns off (or eventually for a longer period to make the boiler cool),
then then bring the knob in the previous position. If necessary, wait
and try again for few times. If the lockout persists or reappears, call
the Service Centre .
Verify the safety thermostat functionality. Detect the causes of
the overheating, e.g. an insufficient circulation in the primary cir-
cuit; max gas pressure out of the limits or maximum heating power
excessive for the heating system size.

Incorrect flue flow
(even momentary)
Restore the boiler function by turning the knob on the unlock
position
, wait the red light to turn off, then bring the knob
in the previous position. If the lockout persists or reappears, call the
Service Centre .
check the efficiency of the flue ducts and of the flue flow detec-
tion device.
Insufficient air sup-
ply / room ventila-
tion
Check that the outlet which communicates with the outdoor, com-
pulsory according to the regulation in force, is not obstructed by
pieces of furniture against the wall or by other objects.
It is however
normal that the outlet is realized behind a radiator.
The outlet must
be of the dimension prescribed by the law and must be cleaned
inside: some types have an anti-insects net which could have been
dirtied by dust or by spider webs. Call a Qualified Technician when
it is necessary .
Interferences with
air supply / room
ventilation
If in the room where the boiler is installed there are fireplaces,
stoves, coal stoves or similar, fans for the air outlet, such as wall
fans, aspiring cowls for cooking boards with outlet pipe, let the
technician check that the inlet is correctly OVERSIZED or that there
are the ADDITIONAL inlets as prescribed by the laws in force, be-
cause, otherwise, these devices interfere with the evacuation of the
boiler flue.

Communication be-
tween display and
main PCB is not cor-
rect
At every Power On, this alarm is showed for max 2-3 seconds; then
it will disappear. If not, call the Service.
Check display, main PCB and connection wire. Replace what it is
needed .
