Refitting the driven pulley
•
Place the driven pulley assembly in its
position.
•
Open the driven pulley and insert the
belt according to the correct direction
of rotation.
•
Fit the driven pulley plus the belt in their
position.
•
Fit the clutch bell.
•
Lock the clutch bell.
•
Tighten the clutch nut.
Locking torques (N*m)
Rear CVT pulley fixing flanged nut - M12x1 (1)
60 Nm (44.25 lbf ft) - Loctite 243
Drive-belt
•
Make sure that the driving belt is not
damaged.
•
Check belt for correct width.
Characteristic
Driving belt width (125 - 200)
- minimum: 21.0 mm (0.827 in)
- standard: 22.0 +/- 0.2 mm (0.8661 +/- 0.0079 in)
During the wear checks foreseen in the scheduled
maintenance services, check that the rim bottom
of the toothing does not show signs of incisions or
cracking (see figure): the rim bottom of the tooth
must not have incisions or cracking; if it does,
change the belt.
