Folding in the lying surface
Before folding, all parts not belonging to the bed (such as mattress, bedding, pillows, stand-up
aids or other additional devices, ...) must be dismantled from the lying surface and removed
from the bed. The side rails and all objects lying under the bed must also be dismantled or
removed. One side of the bed (head or foot side) must be braked, the other side remains
unbraked so that the castors can run freely.
Now you can start the folding process with the help of the manual switch. To do this, move
the arrow on the back of the manual switch to position II. Now simultaneously press the right
key in the fourth row of keys and the right key in the sixth row of keys until the bed is
completely retracted, i.e. the lying surface is completely folded.
When the key combination is pressed, the bed starts to move. It does not matter in which
starting position the motors are.
First, the head section and knee bend are moved to the horizontal position. Then both lift
motors move the lying surface all the way down.
