MINIBLOK
CAREFULLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE FALL ARRESTER
The fall arrester Miniblok is classified as PPE ( Personal Protective Equipment )
in accordance with
EU Regulation 2016/425 on PPE
and is in conformity to the European Norm EN 360:2002 + VG
11.060:2014 (sharp edge type A radius 0.5mm).

DESCRIPTION
The fall arrester Miniblok is a retractable type fall arrester with integrated energy absorber. Its
functioning is automatic, either during ascent and descent, and does not require any manual
intervention from the user. In case of a fall, the device blocks automatically.
The device is composed of :
-Top aluminium screw locking connector Irudek ref. 1135 (EN 362).
-Retractable lanyard, Technora® webbing 21mm, equipped with an aluminium automatic locking
connector Irudek (EN 362).
-Top swivel ring that allows the fall arrester rotate easily on its axis in case the webbing gets
twisted.

MATERIAL
: The webbing of the Miniblok is made from Technora®, the connecctors Irudek
1135, Irudek are made from aluminium and the connector, used for the twin Twinblok, is made
from steel.
USE
: The equipment can be used both in vertical and in horizontal (sharp edge type A radius
0.5mm). It is suitable for use in any application having risk of falling over sharp edge.
APPLICATION
The fall arrester is a subsystem that when connected to a full body harness according to EN 361,
constitutes one of the fall arrest systems specified in the Norm EN 363. In case of a fall, the fall
arrester blocks and minimizes the impact forces on the user's body <6 kN.
Certificated to be used both in vertical and in horizontal with vertical fall over a sharp edge. It
is in conformity to the most exigent requirements for use in horizontal according to VG
11.060:2014 (sharp edge type A, radius 0.5mm).
Due to the new design, with integrated energy absorber, guarantee falls over
sharp edge, avoiding any breakage during and after impact and limiting the
impact force to 6 kN.
In order to optimize the safety during works at height, it is important to limit
the movements as much as possible and that the lateral movements do not
exceed a cone of 40 ° to the vertical axis of its anchor point and move at a
moderate speed, to ensure that the fall arrester functions under proper
condition.
