6 SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
The Panel PC can be purchased with pre-installed Operating System and drivers.
6.1 REINSTALLING AND UPDATING
6.1.1 REINSTALLING
Following unistall, a message will be displayed if you reinstall the Software.
To reinstall, push “yes” button to proceed with a new installation.
6.1.2 SOFTWARE INSTALLATION USING THE ENCLOSED CD
To reinstalling the software manually is necessary insert the CDs in the PC and run the installation
after plugging a CD drive to the computer’s USB port. In this case, install all the necessary programs.
6.1.3 UPDATING
It is advisable to periodically update the installed software to improve the Panel PC performances.
6.2 LCD PANEL SET UP AND RESOLUTION CHANGE
Set the resolution and refresh rate using the PC Control Panel to achieve the optimal image quality.
Failing to select the optimal resolution can lead to a unsatisfying image quality on LCD-TFT monitors.
The recommended resolutions are:
• 18,5” : 1366 x 768 - 60Hz
6.2.1 RESOLUTION CHANGE IN WINDOWS 7 AND WIN 10
Select Control Panel → Display → Settings and change resolution.
6.3 WIRELESS LAN CONNECTION
The wireless LAN connection is supported only on the versions equipped with the specifi c antenna
and allows an Internet connection or a connection to another device.
6.3.1 IP CONFIGURATION
It is advisable to periodically update the installed software in order to improve the Panel PC
performance.
• Install the integrated software
• Select Control Panel → Network and Internet → Network and Sharing Center → Change
board settings
NOTE
To access the Internet using the LAN network, it is necessary to confi gure the network as described
depending on the IP type that you plan to use.
