CAUTION! IMPORTANT NOTES RELATING TO LASER PRODUCTS!
This device contains a Class 2M laser according to the classification according to DIN EN 60825-1: 2007
Class 2M is only defined for visible laser radiation in the range 400-700nm. It is regarded as safe against
accidental irradiation at short notice, in which one can turn away within a quarter of a second. Do not look at the
laser beam with optical instruments such as magnifying glasses, lenses, telescopes or binoculars! Never expose
the laser beam to people. Ensure that unauthorized persons can not use the appliance, lock the lock switch and
remove the corresponding key.
1.3. Intended use
The product has been developed for professional use in the area of event technology and is not suitable for room
lighting in households. This product is only approved for connection to 100-240 VAC, 50 / 60Hz alternating voltage
and has been designed for indoor use only. When choosing an installation location, make sure that the unit is not
exposed to excessive heat, moisture, or dust. Make sure there are no cables around. You endanger your own and
the safety of third parties! The ambient temperature must be between -5 ° C and + 45 ° C. Keep the unit away from
direct sunlight and radiators. Do not operate the unit until after you have familiarized yourself with its functions. Do
not operate the appliance by persons who are not familiar with the appliance. Please note that unauthorized
modifications to the device are prohibited for safety reasons. If the device is used in a different way than described
in this manual, this can lead to damage to the product and to the warranty claim. In addition, any other use is
associated with dangers such as short circuit, fire, electric shock, crashes, etc. The device must not be used
outdoor.
The device is not designed for continuous operation. Brakes between operating periods increase the life of the
device.
Keep children and laymen away from the appliance. The device must never be operated unattended!
Part 2: Installation:
Unpack the unit and carefully check it for damage before using it. Place the unit in a suitable location or hang it on
a suitable crossmember. The device must be secured with an approved safety cable when the mounting is
suspended. In addition, the mounting bracket must be screwed and tightened with the enclosed screws! Do not
cover the ventilation openings, danger of overheating! The headlight must be mounted at least 50cm away from all
surrounding walls. Then connect the device to the power supply, and if necessary, connect a DMX cable and
connect it to other devices or a DMX controller. More about DMX or Master / Slave operation also under part 3.
During installation, the provisions of BGV C1 (formerly VBG 70) and DIN 15560 have to be observed! The
installation may only be carried out by authorized specialists!
IMPORTANT!
Overhead mounting requires a high degree of experience. This includes knowledge of the load-
bearing capacity, the installation material used and the safety inspections of the material and the projector used,
but the required experience is not limited to this alone. Under no circumstances should you attempt to perform the
installation yourself if you do not have the appropriate qualification. Instead, commission a professional installer.
Incorrect installation may result in personal injury and / or damage to property.
NOTE!
Use of tripods.
When the unit is mounted on a tripod, be sure that the weight of the unit does not exceed the permissible load
of the tripod
The device has a key switch (fig. 1 (housing rear)) must be installed in such a way that an emergency shutdown is
possible at any time.
IMPORTANT! The safety distances between the equipment and the public, as well as the maximum
permissible irradiation values (MZB) required at the place of work, must always be determined by trained
specialist personnel and the adherence to them monitored (MZB limit values country-specific).
