End of Product Life
Although your Invicta Powered Wheelchair has been designed to provide you with a
long and trouble-free life, it is inevitable that wear, tear and continual usage will
eventually render the device unusable or beyond economical repair.
RMS Ltd, recommends that the average usable life-cycle expectancy of the Invicta
Powered Wheelchair is five years, assuming that it has been maintained according
to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
When the time comes to replace your wheelchair, please remember to dispose of
the device responsibly and recycle as many parts as possible.
Where your wheelchair has been supplied by an NHS Wheelchair Service, they, or
their Appointed Service / Repair Agent, can arrange for safe disposal.
If your wheelchair is privately owned, then it is the owners responsibility to dispose
of the device at the end of its useful life cycle, in a safe and proper manner.
Your local Council will normally be able to assist with this.
