Section 5 - System Operation 

This section of the manual explains how to start the device, operate it and turn it off. 

Device Start-Up 

1.

 

Press Power switch to turn device on. The system loads the software and enters a self-test 
mode. If any problem is detected during the test the error message will appear. 

2.

 

Verify the following: 

 

Display screen is active (Backlight is On) 

 

Splash screen and progress bar appears  

 

System goes into treatment screen and it is in Standby mode 

 

Software version is displayed 

 

Connected Hand piece type is allowed in hand piece menu 

3.

 

Set treatment parameters using Up and Down keys 

4.

 

Press OK key to switch into the READY mode. 

5.

 

After the system is ready to use (Ready Mode). Step on footswitch to start treatment. 

Troubleshooting 

 

If cavity is not sealed then VACUUM message is shown and RF is not activated. 

 

 If no testing load is connected a “Bad Coupling” message will appear on the upper right 
side of the screen 

System Shutdown 

To shutdown the system turn power switch off.
