Removing the Side Frame Assemblies
9. Using your left hand, grip the left side frame at the large cutout in the side shroud.
10. Using your right hand, lift up on the frame release lever at the front of the battery
section on the left side (Left Side Frame Label #1).
11. While the frame release lever is activated, separate the upper front clevis pin (Left Side
Frame Label #1) and upper rear clevis pin (Left Side Frame Label #2) away from the
battery section while simultaneously lifting the frame release lever and battery
section.
12. Continue lifting the battery section with the right hand until the battery section lifts
completely away from the lower clevis of the left side frame (Left Side Frame Label
#3).
13. Slide the left side frame away from the battery section and lay down on it’s side or
leave in an upright position by turning both the front and rear caster inward.
14. Repeat STEPS 9-13 for the opposite side frame assembly.
15. Store the seat assembly, left and right side frames, battery section and batteries safely
and securely as required in your vehicle. Side frames should be stored on their side to
prevent them from tipping over.
