5.8 Proportional/Discrete Driving Mode
5.8.1 Using Joystick
The joystick controls the direction and speed of the
wheelchair.

When the joystick is deflected from the neutral (center)
position, the wheelchair moves in the direction of the
joystick movement.
If the joystick is released from any position other than the
neutral position, the joystick returns to the neutral position
and the wheelchair slows down and stops.
The joystick can also be used to wake up the system when
in sleep mode, if this parameter has been enabled by your
provider. Refer to
5.18 The sleep mode, page 66 .
