Installing the hub onto the shaft

Notice

The customer is responsible for dimensioning the shaft-hub connection. Make sure that the
length of the key (shape A) is identical to the length of the hub.

Notice

Recommended ISO fitting for shaft:

Up to 50 mm diameter: k6

Greater than 50 mm diameter: m6

Recommended roughness of the shaft:

1. Insert the key into the shaft.

2. Press the hub with a moderate amount of force to the shaft.

3. Secure the hub against axial displacement (for example, by using a circlip).

NOTICE

If you are using the spring-applied brake for reverse operations, glue the hub to the shaft.
