CVT Belt Replacement/
Debris Removal
DANGER:
Failure to remove ALL debris when replacing the
belt could result in vehicle damage and severe injury.
If the belt fails, always clean any debris from the duct and
from the clutch and engine compartments when replacing
the belt.
1.
Turn vehicles ignition off and remove the key. Be sure the
vehicle is in “P” (Park).
2.
Remove the seat.
3.
Remove CVT cover.
4.
Remove all debris wrapped in and around the CVT system
and air duct passage.
5.
Check for signs of damage to seals on the transmission and
engine. See your dealer promptly for service if any seals
appear to be damaged.
CVT Drying
Use the following instructions to dry it out before operating.
