• Remove the cover from the
breathing valve. Press on
the threads to remove the
diaphragm assembly. Re-
move the sealing disc and
the spring with the guide
disc.
• Attach a breathing hose to
the breathing valve. Make
sure to not get any disin-

the hose.
• Put the parts in the disin-
fectant and move it all
around to get
disinfectant on all surfaces.
• Leave the parts in the
disinfectant for 5 minu-

might cause damage to the
equipment.
• Remove all parts from
the disinfectant and
pour out any remaining
disinfectant.
• Put all parts in fresh
water and move it
around to get rid of any
disinfectant residues.
• Make sure that the thin, large
O-ring on the diaphragm
assembly still is in place.
• Remove the breathing hose
from the breathing valve.
• Position the breathing valve
with the openings in a position
which makes it easier for the
moisture to evaporate.
• The diaphragm assembly must
not be flat during drying. Place
it on an item (A) that keeps the
diaphragm expanded to allow

• Make sure there are no visible
moisture on the breathing
valve after drying. If necessary
