WARNINGS
- El incumplimiento con todas las instrucciones y limitaciones relativas a la utilización de esta máscara para la cara o el no utilizarlo durante todo el
periodo de exposición puede reducir el nivel de protección y, por lo tanto, aumentar el tiempo de exposición al contaminante, con el riesgo de
enfermedad y discapacidad permanente.
- Antes de comenzar a trabajar, el usuario debe estar familiarizado con el uso correcto de los equipos, así como con el contaminante, con el fin de
elegir un tipo de filtro apropiado.
- No altere ni modifique el equipo, ya que esto alterará cualquier certificación y puede contribuir a reducir la protección del usuario.
- Se debe tener cuidado cuando éste equipo se utilice en ambientes explosivos o en atmósferas enriquecidas con oxígeno.
- El uso del equipo se limita a la concentración de toxinas en el medio ambiente. La concentración máxima con la que pueda ser utilizado dependerá
del TLV (Valor Límite Umbral para cada tipo de gas).
- El respirador debe ser usado por una sola persona para prevenir infecciones.
- Es probable que no se cumplan los requerimientos de ajuste en el respirador para personas con barba, patillas, cicatrices profundas o que utilicen
lentes incompatibles con el equipo.
- El equipo no debe utilizarse en entornos donde el nivel de oxígeno es inferior a 19.5%.
- Si se observa alguna de las características del contaminante; olor, sabor, irritación o el aumento de la resistencia a la respiración, abandone el área
inmediatamente.
- Lea siempre las etiquetas de los cartuchos antes de usarlos, a fin de asegurarse de que los cartuchos o filtros que tiene le proporcionarán la
protección que necesita. Los filtros que, según su etiqueta, protegen únicamente contra las partículas no deben utilizarse como protección contra
gases y vapores, mientras que los cartuchos que, según su etiqueta, sólo protegen contra gases y vapores no deben utilizarse como protección contra
las partículas.
- Failure to comply with all instructions and limitations concerning use of this face masks or failure to use it for the entire exposure period can reduce
the level of protection and, therefore, increase the time of exposure to the contaminant. With the resulting risk of disease and pemanent disability.
- Before using, the wearer must be familiar with correct use of the equipment as well as with the contaminant in order to choose on appropriate filter
type.
- Do not alter or modify the set, as this will alter any certification and may contribute to reducing the user’s protection.
- Care must be taken when this equipment is used in explosive environments or in atmospheres enriched with oxygen.
- Use of the set is limited to the concentration of toxins in the environment. The maximum concentration for which it may be used will depend on
the TLV, (threshold limit value for each kind of gas).
- We recommend that only one person uses each mask in order to reduce the risk of infection.
- It is likely that air-tightness requirements will not be met for users with beards, physical deformities on their face or who use glasses that are
incompatible with the equipment.
- The equipment must not be used in environments where the level of oxygen is lower than 19.5%.
- If you observed any characteristic of the contaminant; odour, taste, irritation or any increase in breathing resistance, leave the area immediately.
- Always read cartridge labels prior to use, to ensure that the cartridges or filters that have will provide the protection you need. Filters that,
according to its label, protect only against particles should not be used as protection against gases and vapors, while cartridges, according to its label,
only protect against gases and vapors must not be used as protection against particles.
