Simpli Series System Instructions for Use

Review 

In the 

Review

 window, you can view and delete automatically acquired images, load manually acquired 

images and cines, save changes made to an image (i.e. annotations or measurements), and generate a 
report. 

Controls for optimizing the image are available during 

Review

. Adjustments made to the controls during 

review will revert to its previous settings when you exit 

Review

 and return to imaging. Refer to 

Optimizing the Image

Reviewing Images 

Thumbnails of images automatically acquired when you paused imaging appear in the 

Review

 window. 

Touch a thumbnail to view a full-sized image in the image area. 

To review images not shown as a thumbnail, touch 

Load Images 

                             and select the image 

file you want to review. The image will appear in the image area. 

Imaging tools (annotations, pointers, measurements, and calculations) are available during review of 
images. To save annotation, pointers, measurements or calculations added to an image, save the image 
after the changes have been made. Refer to 

Acquiring Images. 

Reviewing Cines 

1.

 

Touch 

Load Cine 

                            and select the cine file you want to review. The cine will appear 

in the image area. 

2.

 

Use the cine controls beneath the cine. 

 

 

Cine Controls 

Play and pause the cine. 

Navigate backwards one frame. 

Drag thumb to cycle through cine to a specific frame. 

Navigate forward one frame. 

Generating Reports 

1.

 

You must enter patient information and have saved images to the patient exam before you are 
able to print a report. Refer to 

Editing Patient Information

 and 

Acquiring Images

2.

 

Touch 

Save to Report

. An html report is saved in the patient exam folder and  

 
automatically opened in a web browser for review.
