Chapter 4 Installation
To allow the printer to detect the start of each label or tag and place
the print image correctly, you must define which type of paper will
be used. The printer is preset for 5 different types of labels or tags,
which can be selected by means of the control panel. By default, the
paper types are set as follows:

Select the paper type that matches your labels or tags, as described
on next page. If none of the preset options matches your require-
ments, you can reset the values of each paper type at will as
described in chapter 9 “Advanced Paper Settings”.
Note that if paper “Type1 A:102x76” matches your labels, you can
skip the procedure described in this chapter altogether, as this paper
type is selected by default.

Paper Type
Top of Form (TOF) specifies what kind
of detection is used to detect the front
edge of the label or tag, e.g. a black
marker or a gap between labels.
