1 . 1 . Product description
SKIPPY
®
is a multifunctional, mobile therapy chair
made of light-weight aluminum and equipped with
anatomical standard upholstery� Its individual ad-
justment options for seat width, seat depth, and back
height ensure ideal adaptability, making it a seating
system that adjusts to the young user� All of the basic
SKIPPY
®
components are variably adjustable, adapted
to the needs of the user, and thus provide excellent
lateral support for the upper body, as well as the hips
and legs� The SKIPPY
®
seat/back unit is connected via
physiological pivot points� The back rest is moveable
and its compression spring enables it to readily absorb
the sudden force exerted when the user stretches� It
is possible to recline the back rest to an angle of up to
30 ° in order to provide the option of a relaxed supine
position� The entire concept behind SKIPPY
®
is based
on a light-weight design that provides for proper air
circulation� High-quality upholstery and fabrics ensure
a long service life and are easy to clean and wash�
Optional accessories provide a high level of variability
and flexibility, ensuring ideal adaptation to the needs of
the user� SKIPPY
®
is individually adapted to the needs
of the user by your specialist dealer and is supplied
pre-assembled� After removing the transport packag-
ing you can use your new SKIPPY
®
immediately� As the
SKIPPY
®
is a therapy chair, it can only be used indoors�

Authorization for delivery
SKIPPY
®
may only be delivered to the end customer by
authorized specialist dealers, medical device consult-
ants or by the medical device consultants of interco
GmbH�
Scope of delivery
The scope of delivery includes the basic SKIPPY
®
model
with the ordered options�
The basic model includes:

Integrated variable abduction & windswept
deformity

Dynamic back rest, continuously variable/lockable

Continuously variable back extension

Continuously variable seat depth extension

Continuously variable seat width adjustment

Height- and width-adjustable lateral side supports

Adjustment of seat height and seat angle using
gas-pressure springs

Light-weight rollers with locks

Removable / washable cover in various colors and
SKIPPY logo in undercarriage color

One-piece or two-piece foot rest system
Setup/assembly
The product is delivered fully pre-assembled to the end
customer, thus no components need to be assembled
on-site� If options are installed at a later date, the as-
sembly instructions are enclosed with the option�
All settings on the SKIPPY
®
can be made while the user
sits in it� It must be ensured that this is only done if the
user is secured by a second person!

to the widest seat width, the
shortest seat depth and the shortest back height� After
