7. Safety instructions

Always follow the operating guidelines and safety instructions for the
undercarriage, to which your MAGICLIGHT is mounted�

It is never permitted to transport the patient in the seat shell when
traveling by car!

Please use a special vehicle seat that meets the applicable specifications
for traveling by car� The seat shell is only permitted to be transported by
vehicle if it is unoccupied and must be properly secured�

We would like to expressly point out that seat shell occupants must be
secured at all times by means of suitable restraint systems (straps)!

Always make sure that the seat shell is securely connected to the under-
carriage�

Always contact your local dealer or your interCo team should you have
any questions about your MAGICLIGHT�

Perform periodic inspections of all threaded connections on your MAGIC-
LIGHT� Consult your authorized local dealer in the case of any doubts�

Have any necessary modifications or additions performed by your local
dealer�

It is not permissible for any parties other than the manufacturer to make
additions or modifications to your MAGICLIGHT and any cases that should
become known shall be subject to legal action� Likewise, the warranty obli-
gations of interCo GmbH shall cease to apply in such cases and any liability
claims directed at the manufacturer shall no longer be valid�

MAGICLIGHT is only approved for its intended use�

Seat units are only permitted to be mounted to the undercarriage in the
specified direction�

Do not use the foot rests or the leg support when getting into or out of a
seating system� The foot rests or leg support should be folded up and out
of the way or removed beforehand�

The patient, the seating system, and the undercarriage must be carried
separately when using stairs�
