GENERAL
MAGICLIGHT is also used in cases of:
Cerebral movement disorders
Myelodysplastic syndromes
Muscular dystrophy or atrophy
Multiple sclerosis
Severe deformities of the trunk and/or other extremities,
such as the hip(s) or knee(s)

3. General
MAGICLIGHT is a multifunctional, dynamic seating system made of light-weight
aluminum and equipped with anatomical standard upholstery� Its individual ad-
justment options for seat width, seat length, and seat height ensure ideal adapt-
ability, making it a seating system that adjusts to the young patient� All of the
basic MAGICLIGHT components are variably adjustable, adapted to the needs of
the patient, and thus provide excellent lateral support for the upper body, as well
as the hips and legs� The back units of the seat are interconnected by three pivot
points on the MAGICLIGHT� The back rest is moveable and its compression spring
enables it to readily absorb the sudden force exerted when the patient stretches�
After stretching the patient is returned to the original position� It is possible to
recline the back rest to an angle of up to
30
° in order to provide the option of a
relaxed supine position� The entire concept behind MAGICLIGHT is based on a
light-weight design that provides for proper air circulation� High-quality fabrics
ensure a long service life and are easy to clean and wash� Optional accessories
provide a high level of variability and flexibility, ensuring ideal adaptation to the
needs of the patient� MAGICLIGHT is individually adapted to the needs of the
patient by your manufacturer or dealer and comes pre-assembled� You can use
your new MAGICLIGHT immediately after you remove it from the packaging�
MAGICLIGHT can be used both indoors and outdoors, depending on the undercar-
riage� In order to provide a better illustration in these operating guidelines the
MAGICLIGHT is shown mounted on the ROOMY NEW EDITION undercarriage;
however, this undercarriage must be ordered separately�
