Configuration Software and Utilities

Power On/Off

Selecting Power On/Off from the Action menu displays the Power on/off dialog.  This dialog
provides commands to remotely power on or power off the server.

Options available in the dialog are:

•

 

Power ON

 - powers on the server.

•

 

Power OFF

 - powers off the server.  This option is not allowed if the server is configured in

RESTRICTED mode for EMP operations.

•

 

Post-power-up option 

- sets the mode selection of the server to EMP active or BIOS

redirection.  The setting is available after the next power-up.  The default selection is
EMP active.

•

 

Cancel

 - exits the Connect dialog without taking any action.

•

 

Help 

- displays the help information for this dialog.

Reset

Selecting Reset from the Action menu displays the Reset dialog.  This dialog provides the ability to
remotely reset the server with post-reset options.
