Error Messages and Beep Codes

Speaker
The board-mounted piezoelectric speaker provides audible error code (beep code)
information during POST.

BIOS Beep Codes
Whenever a recoverable error occurs during POST, the BIOS causes the board’s
piezoelectric speaker to beep an error message describing the problem (see Table 34).
