5.2.2 CONNECTING THE POE-ADAPTER

Plug the RJ45 connector of the network cable 1 from the PoE adapter (output:"POE" or "OUT") into the
RJ45 socket on the SQ system.

Plug the connector of the network cable 2 from the PoE adapter (output:"LAN" or "IN") into a LAN port on
the control computer.

Plug in the connector of the power supply of the PoE adapter into a socket (230 VAC, 50 Hz).
Plug in the connector of the control computer into a socket (230 VAC, 50 Hz).
If the connection is successful, the SQ system automatically performs a self-test.
After the control computer is switched on, an IP address is shown on the display.
CAUTION
Danger of using the wrong power supply units!

If a power supply unit or power cord is damaged, it must be disposed and replaced by a power supply unit
of the same type.

Connect the power supply to an easily accessible, permanently installed outlet (230 VAC, 50 Hz) near the
system. In the event that the system must be quickly disconnected from the power supply, the socket
must be immediately accessible.
Suitable are:

Power supply units e. g. INTARSO, Ubiquity PoE-24-24W

Passive switch e. g. Ubiquity Unity Switch 24 Port 500W passive
