Setting the BSOD Automatic Memory Dump
When a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) error occurs, the system generates a .dmp
memory dump error report file, which is stored in
C:\Windows
by default. This file
can be used to analyze the BSOD causes.
After the Windows OS is installed, we recommend you to use the default settings
and ensure that the C drive (C:) has more than 10 GB idle space to save the dump
files.
