Chart 2 is the production of Cat5 twisted-pair RJ - 45 connector Ethernet cable sample, reference for
users to use.Cat5 twisted pair is composed of 8-core thread, use the color of the thread on the outer
insulation layer to group identity. Usually use single color and monochrome with white as standard in
pairs, also coloring point pairs are identified. This example used is the former.
Attached Cart 3, 4, is the arrangement of straight line and cross line connection methods, having
regard to the different application requirements should choose respectively. In the traditional network,
when the LAN cards connect with the hubs, switches, and so on, using straight-through cable; When
the connection between LAN card and LAN card, the connection between the switches and the
switches, the switches connect with the hubs routers , need use crossover cable. In the picture,
"SIDE1" and "SIDE2" respectively mean both ends of the network cable, "1 ~ 8" Numbers are RJ -
45 connector pin numbers.
