INSTRUCTIONS FOR
INSTALLATION AND USE
ATTENTION
Read these instructions carefully before installation and use and str
ictly comply with
the safety instructions.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
INNOTECH FSG 01-05 should only be installed by competent and trained experts familiar
with the safety system.
•
You must be familiar with these instructions as well as with the local safety regulations to
set up and use the system. You must also be familiar with all local safety regulations as well
as physically and mentally fit.
•
Medical conditions (cardiovascular problems, intake of medicines, alcohol) can affect the
safety of the user when working in high places.
•
Adhere to the respective accident prevention regulations when installing/using the
attachment device INNOTECH FSG 01-05.
•
Before starting the work, you must ensure that no objects can fall to the ground from the
work site. The area below the work site (sidewalk, etc.) must be kept clear.
•
Before use, you must visually check the entire fall arrest system for obvious defects (e.g.
loose screws, deformations, abrasion, corrosion, etc.).
If there are any doubts concerning the safe function of the restraint system, it must be
inspected by an expert (written documentation).
•
The annual check of the device must be carried out by specialists and documented in
writing.
•
You must not use the fall prevention system for windows as an anchorage point for personal
restraint or fall arrest systems (danger of life)!
•
Do not climb the telescopic bars.
•
Do not leave ladders leaning against the fall prevention system.
•
Do not put tools or working materials on the fall prevention system.
•
Do not use the safety railing for windows as a child safety harness.
•
Do not use the safety railing for windows for hoisting or letting down scaffolds, construction
materials and cleaning materials, etc.
•
INNOTECH FSG 01-05 have been developed for personal safety and may not be used for
other purposes.
•
Do not carry out any changes to any part of the safety device.
•
Immediately stop using the safety railing for windows if the device is damaged or
malfunctions.
•
If external contractors use the restraint system, the instructions for installation and usage
must be handed over in writing.
