SAFETY RULES AND WARNINGS
• Before using the unit, please read the operating instructions, the safety notes and follow
them. Keep this manual for the entire life of the appliance, for the purpose of consultation.
Failure to follow the instructions could cause accidents and void the warranty by raising the
manufacturer from any liability.
• This equipment must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed, that is as kettle
for HOUSEHOLD use only. Any other use is considered improper and therefore dangerous.
• This product is intended for HOUSEHOLD use only, it was not designed for industrial or
professional use, it must not be used for cooking in the areas reserved for personnel in
shops, offices and other workplaces, on farms, by customers of hotels, motels, bed and
breakfasts and other professional environments, and similar places.
• Keep all packaging materials (plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene etc.) out of reach of
children as they are potentially dangerous and should be disposed as required by law.
• After removing the appliance from its packaging material, check for any damages caused
by transport and the integrity of the supply according to the drawing. In case of damage
or doubt about the integrity, do not use it and contact the authorized after sales service.
• Do not use the appliance if the cord or plug are damaged.
• Before connecting the device, make sure the mains voltage indicated on the rating label
correspond to those of the local power supply. The rating label is located on the appliance.
• Disconnect the device from the mains when not in use, before filling, emptying or proceed
with cleaning.
• Do not fill in the kettle excessively in order to prevent the escape of boiling water. The level
of maximum capacity is indicated in the product.
• Do not touch the body of the kettle during heating and for several minutes after use, since
it may be very hot and cause burns and scalds. Lift it and move it, always using its handle.
• The power plug should go into the socket perfectly. Do not alter the plug in any way. Do
not use adapters.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
• Do not leave the kettle connected to the outlet when the room temperature approaches
the external winter temperature. At temperatures below freezing the automatic control
thermostat stops working.
• Do not use the product if it dropped, if there are any signs of visible damage or leaks.
• Do not pull the power cable to lift, carry or pull the plug from the socket.
• Make sure the cable has no kinks or bends.
• Check the condition of electrical cable. Damaged cable or with knots increase the risk of
electric shock.
• Do not use the plug or cord with wet or damp hands or feet.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized
after sales service, in order to avoid any hazard.
