Privacy Tab
This tab allows user to manage the security of the powerline network in
two steps
:
First
, select the network type (Private or Public) in the
Private Network Name
panel.
Then
select how you want the network type to be applied in the
Place On This Network
panel.
Note: “HomePlugAv” is the default name (case-sensitive), which also sets the powerline
network as Public. Renaming “HomePlugAv” to anything else sets the powerline network as
Private.
1. Private Network Name
panel
“HomePlugAv” Textbox:
Click to replace the text with any other names to create a Private
Network.
Use Default (Public Network)
button: Click to reset the powerline network as Public. This also
renames the
Private Network Name
to “HomePlugAv”.
2. Place On This Network
panel
Set Local Device Only
button: Click to apply selection from the
Private Network Name
panel to
the local 200P-I1 only (e.g. if a Private network is created, clicking this button disconnects only the
local 200P-I1 from the public powerline network).
