Adjusting the mirror
The direction of the light can be adjusted by rotating and/or tilting
the mirror.
Changing the light bulb
Caution:
Unplug the lamp from the power supply and allow it
to cool down completely.
Only the bulb need be changed: the
matt-finished reflector (specially made by Ingo Maurer GmbH) is
fully reusable.
Do not touch the new bulb or the inner surface
of the reflector with your bare hands.
Before changing the bulb, carefully unhook the paper at the top
and bottom and allow it to slide down the retaining rod. Hold
the socket with one hand and remove the spent bulb with the
other, reaching into the wire cage from the top.
If the spent bulb is wedged very tightly in the socket, it can be
loosened by applying gentle pressure at the sides underneath the
reflector.
Inser t the replacement bulb and reattach the paper shade by
fitting the silicon rings on the hooks.
Cleaning
Important:
Never use damp cloths, sponges or similar on the
paper shade. Clean the shade if necessary with a light feather
duster or paintbrush.
The metal par ts can be wiped with a dry cloth. The inner surface
of the reflector should be wiped occasionally with a dry cloth –
do not touch the reflector with your bare hands.
