If the front cover has been opened at any time, attach it to the unit using its four Allen screws as follows:
- lubricate the screws.
- ensure that the cover is correctly aligned with the housing. This can be confirmed easily by checking that
the holes in the cover and the housing mate.
- manually insert the four screws into their threaded holes, starting at the top right, followed by the bottom
left and finally the other two.
- tighten the screws until a maximum torque of 5 Nm (Newton metres) is applied to each with a calibrated
tool.
- check that sealing is conserved.
The guarantee does not cover damage caused by inadequate sealing of the unit.
Whenever the unit is opened, it is mandatory to lubricate the screws before closing it again to prevent them seizing.
6.2 Start-up
Once a general visual inspection, wiring check and sealing check has been carried out, proceed to connect power
to the unit while keeping it switched off, following the guidelines in the instruction manual for the unit installed.
The tasks outlined for this step must be carried out with the unit door always closed, thus avoiding possible contact
with live parts without IP6X protection.
6.2.1 Adjustments
Change date
Go to the CHANGE DATE menu.
Adjust the date and time of the unit's internal clock.
Section 9.6 explains how to do this.
Check that the monitored variables have coherent values using the keyboard and flat screen.
