Failure to initialise
Possible causes of the system failing to ini�alise correctly
Problem
Possible fault
No power light & nothing on display
Check for mains power.
Con�nuous audible tone
Reset the M60 (See rese�ng the M60)
Con�nuous beeping and No card fi�ed
shown on the display
Ensure the config-card is correctly installed
Corrupted characters shown on the display.
Reset the M60, if the problem persists
contact Packs Infotel
If the problem s�ll persists, contact Packs Infotel or an approved system
installer immediately.
Resetting the M60
1.
Hard reset. This can be achieved by removing all power from
the system, this includes the M60 ba�ery back-up. (See the
installa�on instruc�ons for more informa�on)
2.
So� reset. To press the so� reset bu�on, look at the bo�om
right of the M60 membrane and a small pin hole can be seen.
The push bu�on can be located directly on the circuit board
behind the pin hole.

Depending upon the so�ware installed in the M60 the
telephone numbers may be lost a�er a hard reset, always check
by selec�ng ‘
’ in the M60 menu.

Do
NOT
insert any objects into the pin hole when carrying out a
so� reset, the push bu�on reset is on the main circuit board. If
your are unsure, contact Packs Infotel.
