holds a 3.5-inch hard drive. 4U60 systems have 3 drawers, holding 20
hard drives in each drawer. The hard drive trays of JB2060L / JB 3060L
are accessible from the top of the enclosure by sliding the top cover to
the rear.
LED Panel (2):
The panel has Service / Power / Cooling Fan / Thermal /
System LEDs.
Mute button / service LED (3):
The mute button is to mute an alarm
when sound or to indicate to the administrator the system requires
service.
Rotary ID switch in JBOD systems (4):
The rotary ID switch is for
users to set a unique ID to each JBOD when connected in a multi-array
environment.
Rackmount holes (5):
There are two rackmount holes (one on each
side of the enclosure) for users to secure the enclosure onto the
cabinet.
Handles (6):
There are handles on both sides of the enclosure for users
to pull / push the enclosure out and into the cabinet when the enclosure
is installed on a slide rail rackmount system.
Drawer / hard drive status LED (7):
There is a set of drawer and hard
drive status LEDs in front of every drawer to indicate operation statuses.
Drawer release notch (8):
A drawer release notch can be found on
each drawer. It is used, to open each drawer.
