SOLVING VIDEO, AUDIO, AND REMOTE CONTROL ISSUES
The following table provides solutions for potential video, audio, and remote control issues.
Issue
Cause
Solution
Video is frozen.
The Freeze button has been
pressed.
Press the Freeze button on the remote to unfreeze the video.
Video is stretched.
16:9 (wide) source is setup
incorrectly.
Ensure the source is set to use the 16:9 (wide) display format.
Letterbox (LBX) source is setup
incorrectly.
Use the On Screen Display (OSD) menu to set the aspect ratio to LBX.
4:3 source is setup incorrectly.
Use the On Screen Display (OSD) menu to set the aspect ratio to 4:3.
No audio.
Projector is muted.
Press the Mute button to unmute the projector.
Volume setting is too low.
Press the button to increase the volume.
Source cable is not connected.
Ensure the source cable is securely connected to the projector and
source device.
Source is muted.
Ensure the source has not been muted.
Remote does not work.
Batteries expired.
Install new batteries.
Batteries installed incorrectly.
Remove and reinstall the batteries.
Remote is too far from projector.
The remote should be within 16.4 feet (5m) of the projector.
IR receiver cannot detect remote.
Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the projector's
IR receiver.
Ensure the operating angle of the remote control is within ±20° to the
projector's IR receiver.
Ensure there are no fluorescent light sources shining on the projector's IR
receiver.

REPAIR BY SKILLED PERSONS
Servicing is required when the projector has been damaged, exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been
dropped. All servicing and repairs should be performed by an authorized InFocus representative.
