Configuration
OPOS:
OPOS, Object Linking and Embedding for Retail POS consists of an architecture for Win32-based
POS device access. Point of sale (POS) or checkout is the location where a transaction occurs, it is
sometimes falsely used to describe the POS terminal or till. OPOS also consists of a set of POS
device interfaces sufficient to support a wide range of POS solutions. It provides a consistent
interface to POS peripherals for use by application creators.
The Epson OPOS SDK gives easy access to the POS devices and their settings.
We will check the connection to the Line Display, printer and cash drawer.
