Using the wrong fluid or allowing air or contam inants into the fluid
syste m can d am ag e the syste m se als or re sult in a m alfunction that
could le ad to se rious injury or d e ath. Use only DOT 4 b rake fluid from
a se ale d containe r.
Do not op e rate the front b rake with the re se rvoir cove r re m ove d .
Fluid could ove rflow from the re se rvoir and allow air to e nte r the
syste m . Air in the b rake syste m could cause the b rake s to
m alfunction.
An ove r-full re se rvoir m ay cause b rake d rag or b rake lock-up, which
could re sult in se rious injury or d e ath. Maintain b rake fluid at the
re com m e nd e d leve l. Do not ove rfill.
