7.7 Information about the FM display
When listening to a UKW station, you can check the information shown on the display.
• Radio text (RT)
This is scrolling text information provided by the broadcaster. The information can be the name of an artist or
song, the name of the DJ, etc.
• Programme type (PTY)
such as ‘Rock’, ‘Pop’, ‘Talk’ or ‘News’
• Station name or frequency
such as BR3 or 93. 30 M H z
• Audio mode
Stereo or Mono
• Time and date
Supplied by the broadcaster.
• Rechargeable battery status information
1 Repeatedly press the
Menu
button and release to cycle through the various information options.
8 ALARM CLOCK FUNCTION
8.1 Setting the alarm clock
Check that the radio has the correct time and date before setting an alarm.
With the radio switched on (not in standby mode):
1 Press and hold the
Menu
button.
2 Use the ◂ or ▸ button and switch to System - Settings.
Press the
Select button.
3 Use the ◂ or ▸ button, highlight ‘Alarm Clock’ and press the
Select button
.
Select Alarm 1 or Alarm 2.
4 Briefly press the
Select
button to view the available alarm information and options.
5 Scroll with the ◂ or ▸ button to the desired alarm clock 1 or 2.
Press the
Select button
. Use the ◂ or ▸ button to change each setting and press
the
Select button
.
6 Make sure you have turned on the alarm before exiting the menu.
7 When an alarm clock has been set, an alarm clock symbol appears at the bottom of
the display.
In standby mode, the display shows you the alarm time (Alarm 1 and/or Alarm 2).
7 FM RADIO RECEPTION
