7.1 FM radio mode
Press the
Mode
button to switch to FM mode (check the display). If you were listening to a UKW station when you
switched off the radio, that station will be selected automatically when you switch the radio on again.
Telescopic antenna
Please make sure the antenna is fully extended before attempting to tune into an FM station. This will ensure that
the maximum signal strength is available when the radio starts scanning.
7.2 Automatic station search
1 Press and hold the ▸ button to start an FM scan.
If an FM station with a sufficiently strong signal is found, the scan stops and the station is played. If an RDS
station is received, the station name and, if applicable,
the radio text appears. For setting weaker stations, please use the manual station search.
7.3 Change FM search settings
1 Hold down the
Menu
button to call up the menu options.
2 Use the ◂ or ▸ button to call up scan settings.
3 Press the
Select button
. The current scan settings are displayed.
There are two different options to choose from:
• Strong stations only.
The scan will only stop when a strong signal is received.
• All channels
The scan stops for every received station, even if the signal strength is poor.
4 Use the ◂ or ▸ button to select one of the two options and press the
Select button.
5 Briefly press the
Menu
button to return to the station display.
