CARE, CLEANING, AND MAINTENANCE
1. Always switch off the appliance and unplug it before cleaning.
2. Remove the lid by turning it clockwise.
3. Remove any tool attachments along with the tool holder and driveshaft.
When handling or cleaning the attachments, handle the blades and cutting
discs with care. They are extremely sharp.
4. Remove the bowl by turning it clockwise.
5. Parts aside from the base unit may be cleaned by hand carefully, or washed in the
top rack of a dishwasher, on a shorter, low temperature program.
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleansers on any part of the appliance.
Some foods may discolor the plastic. This is perfectly normal and won't harm
the plastic or affect the flavor of your food. Rub the plastic with a cloth dipped in
vegetable oil to remove the discolouration.
6. Ensure all parts are dried with a damp cloth before storing the appliance or using
it again.
7. Clean the base/power unit by hand only. You may wish to remove the driveshaft
and ensure that the interlock area which connects to other parts and attach-
ments is free of debris.
IMPORTANT:
NEVER IMMERSE THE BASE UNIT IN WATER. THIS IS THE PART OF
THE APPLIANCE THAT HAS THE PLUG AND OTHER ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS AND
SHOULD NEVER COME IN CONTACT WITH WATER
