3) Adjust the definitive brightness of the spotlights
with control MASTER.
4) To set a control RED, GREEN, BLUE or MAS-
TER to maximum for a short time, the button (8)
below it may be pressed. Thus, e. g. the bright-
ness of the spotlights can be set to maximum for
a short time.
5) To activate the stroboscope function*, advance
control MASTER to the upper half of the adjust-
ing range. Here the flash frequency can be
adjusted from slow to fast. If the control is set to
the upper stop, the stroboscope function is
switched off again and all LEDs light up at max-
imum brightness.
6) With button BLACKOUT (4) the LEDs of the
spotlights may be turned off and on again. As
long as the LEDs are turned off, the yellow LED
next to button BLACKOUT lights up as a check.
7) To switch off and deselect spotlights, press the
corresponding button FIXTURE so that the cor-
responding blue LED will be extinguished.
8) To switch on a deactivated spotlight additionally
with button FIXTURE, slightly move the controls
RED, GREEN, BLUE and MASTER which are
not in minimum position.
*This function is only available for spotlights which have an
individual stroboscope function in the upper value range of
the master channel, e. g. the units of “img Stage Line” indi-
cated in chapter 3. For units without individual stroboscope
function see the next chapter 5.1.
5.1 Stroboscope function
with button STROBE
1) Press button STROBE (5). The green LED next
to the button lights up.
2) Adjust the flash frequency with control SPEED
(17).
Note:
If the stroboscope function has already been acti-
vated with control MASTER (9), control SPEED defines
the flash frequency as long as it is not in minimum posi-
tion.
3) To switch off the function, first set control
SPEED to the lower stop and then actuate but-
ton STROBE again so that its LED will be extin-
guished.
5.2 Memorizing and calling scenes
For immediate calling of illumination scenes, 16
memory locations are available. A scene once ad-
justed can thus be reestablished at any time.
5.2.1 Memorizing illumination scenes
1) Keep button RECORD (3) pressed until its red
LED lights up.
2) Use a button in the field FIXTURE (1) to select
one spotlight (or several spotlights to be equally
adjusted) and adjust the shade of colour and the
brightness with the controls RED, GREEN,
BLUE (7) and MASTER (9).
3) Deselect the adjusted spotlights with the corre-
sponding button in the field FIXTURE.
4) Repeat the steps 2 and 3 for all further units to
be adjusted.
5) With button PAGE (10) select if the scene is to
be memorized on one of the memory locations
1 to 8 (LED “1” lights up) or 9 to 16 (LED “2”
lights up).
6) To memorize the scene, first press button
RECORD and then select the desired number of
memory location 1 to 8 with one of the buttons
SCENES 1 to 8 (2). If the LED “2” of button
PAGE lights up, the scene is memorized on one
of the memory locations 9 to 16 with the buttons
SCENES 1 to 8.
To confirm the memory procedure, all LEDs
of the control panel flash three times after press-
ing a button SCENE.
7) To memorize further scenes, repeat the steps 2
to 6.
8) After all desired scenes have been memorized,
switch off the memory mode. For this purpose
keep button RECORD pressed until its LED will
be extinguished.
5.2.2 Calling scenes
1) Do not select any spotlight. If one of the blue
LEDs of the buttons FIXTURE (1) should light
up, press the corresponding button for deselect-
ing.
2) To call a scene from the memory locations 1 to
8, select the memory page 1 with button PAGE
so that the LED “1” lights up. To call a scene from
the memory locations 9 to 16, select the memory
page 2 with button PAGE so that the LED “2”
lights up.
3) Call the desired scene with the buttons SCENES
(2) and switch it off, if required. If several scenes
are called at the same time, the highest value of
a channels is adjusted in each case.
5.3 Programming and
playing sequences of scenes
To programme sequences of scenes (chases), 16
memory locations are available. A sequence of up
to 99 scenes can be programmed on each memory
location. A maximum of 392 scenes can be memo-
rized.
