These instructions are intended for adults
without any specific technical knowledge.
Please read the instructions carefully prior
to operation and keep them for later ref-
erence.

This laser unit is designed for effect illumination.
It projects rotating light dot patterns in red and
green on a surface.
2 Safety Notes
The units (laser unit and power supply unit) cor-
respond to all relevant directives of the EU and
are therefore marked with .
2.1 Special notes for laser units
This unit is a class 2M laser product. The lasers
have the following power and wavelength:
Power
Wavelength

532 nm
red laser
80 mW
650 nm
WARNING
In case of temporary exposure
(0.25 seconds max.), a class 2M
laser is safe for the naked eye.
However, it is hazardous when
viewed through optical instruments. In this case,
the laser may cause permanent retinal damage.
2.2 General safety notes
WARNING
The power supply unit uses dan-
gerous mains voltage. Leave ser-
vicing to skilled personnel only.
Inexpert handling or modification
of the unit may result in electric
shock.
•
The units are suitable for indoor use only. Pro-
tect them against dripping water, splash water
and high air humidity. The admissible ambient
temperature range is 0 – 40 °C.
•
Immediately disconnect the power supply unit
from the socket,
1. if the laser unit or the power supply unit is
visibly damaged,
2. if a defect might have occurred after a unit
was dropped or suffered a similar accident,
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case, the units must be repaired by
skilled personnel.
•
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never
use water or chemicals.
•
No guarantee claims for the units and no li-
ability for any resulting personal damage or
material damage will be accepted if the units
are used for other purposes than originally in-
tended, if they are not safely installed or not
correctly connected, or if they are not repaired
in an expert way.
If the units are to be put out of
operation definitively, take them
to a local recycling plant for a dis-
posal which is not harmful to the
environment.
3 Installation and
Setting into Operation
•
Install the laser unit safely. Never point the
laser beams at the eyes of persons or animals.
From a legal point of view, the person setting
up the unit with its additional components
(e.g. mirrors, projection surface) to create a
laser effect installation, is the manufacturer of
this installation.
Always observe the warn-
ing notes in chapter 2.1.
•
When setting up or suspending the laser unit,
always ensure a sufficient air circulation dur-
ing operation. Keep a minimum distance of
50 cm to any adjoining surfaces and never
cover the air vents of the housing.
1) The bracket can be used as a stand to set up
the laser unit as desired or it can be used for
suspended installation. When the laser unit has
been adjusted, tighten the two lateral screws.
2) Connect the power supply unit provided to
the jack DC 5 V on the rear side of the unit
