APPLICATIONS
This machine is intended to rip and crosscut grown timber, faced boards, chipboard and wood-core
plywood sheets and similar wood-derived materials. All other applications are strictly forbidden.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Always follow these safety instructions. Safety is a combination of common sense, staying alert and
knowing how your machine works. Read thoroughly and become familiar with the entire operating
manual to learn the machine’s applications, limitations and possible hazards.
1.
Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas and benches invite accidents.
2.
Consider work area environment. Do not expose power tools to rain. Do not use power tools in
damp or wet locations. Keep work area well lit. Do not use power tools in the presence of
flammable liquids or gases.
3.
Adopt protective measures against electric shock. Avoid bodily contact with earthed surfaces
such as metal pipes, radiators, cooking ranges, refrigerators etc.
4.
Keep children away. Do not let visitors touch the tool or cord. All visitors should be kept away
from work area.
5.
Store idle tools. When not in use, tools should be stored in a dry, high or locked up place, out of
reach of children.
6.
Do not force the tool. It will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was intended.
7.
Use the right tool. Do not force small tools or attachments to do the job of a heavy duty tool. Do
not use tools for purposes not intended.
8.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery; they can be caught in moving parts.
Non-skid footwear are recommended when working outdoors. Long hair should be tied up.
9.
Always wear eye and ear protection. Also use face or dust mask if the operation is dusty.
10.
If the tool can be connected to a dust extraction or collection facilities, ensure that they are
properly connected and used.
