iiNet MobiiHotspot 4G - Manual

SETTING THE DMZ

A DMZ is a special subnetwork of your home network that is set up to provide external services. You 
may need to set up a DMZ if your external users can’t access the web services you’ve set up.

Important Note

DMZ users are not protected by a firewall and may be vulnerable to attack. This can compromise the 
security of other users of your home network.

To set up a DMZ

1.

 to switch on the DMZ.

 to switch off the DMZ.

At DMZ IP address:, enter the IP address of the DMZ host (the computer providing external 
services).

NOTE:

One client can be set as a DMZ host at a time.
