Setting the display picture
To really give your BoB2™ handset its own look, you can set a picture or a digital clock to display when the
handset is in idle status. Just remember, your display picture won’t show at certain times, like during a call or
when the handset has been de-registered.
1. Press the control key to open the Main Menu. Scroll down to ‘ Settings ’, then press ‘ OK ’.
2. Scroll down to ‘ Display ’, then press ‘ OK ’. Select ‘ Screen Picture ’ and press ‘ OK ’.
3. You can then turn the display picture on or off, and use the left and right control keys to select your
display picture. Press ‘
OK ’ to save your changes.
Let there be light! Or not.
Depending on whether or not the BoB2™ handset is in the cradle, you can turn its lighting on or off. When the
lighting is set to ‘
off ’, the display screen will turn off after two minutes of inactivity.
1. Open the Main Menu by pressing the control key . Scroll down to ‘ Settings ’, then press ‘ OK ’.
2. Scroll down to ‘ Display ’, then press ‘ OK ’. Select ‘ Backlight ’ and then press ‘ OK ’.
3. Use the control keys to toggle between ‘ In charger ’ and ‘ Outside Charger ’, setting each to either on or off.
Press ‘ OK ’ to finish.
It’s important to note that with increased display lighting, the battery life of your BoB2™ handset can be
reduced.
