TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

Unit does not start.
No power to the unit.
Check the mains power supply. Press
the Stand-By button to switch the
appliance to ‘On.’
Water tank is full.
Press the Stand-By button to switch
the appliance to standby mode and
disconnect from the power. Remove
the water tank from the unit and
dispose of the collected water, then
reinsert into the machine, reconnect
to power supply and press Stand-By
button to switch unit to ‘On.’
Water tank is not installed
correctly.
Ensure water tank is positioned
correctly inside the appliance.
Unit is not working as
efficiently as it should
be / is not collecting
water.
The dehumidifier is
obstructed.
Make sure there is adequate clearance
around the appliance, and no blinds or
furniture are blocking the sides of the
humidifier.
There is excessive ventilation
in the room.
Ensure all external doors and
windows are securely closed.
Room temperature and
humidity may be too low.
The dehumidifier will not operate if
the room humidity is already below
the level set.
Air intake filter may be
blocked.
Clean the filter of any obstructions.
Unit is making a loud
noise.
Floor may be uneven.
Reposition the unit on an even, stable
surface.
Leaking from the unit.
The water tank may not be
installed correctly.
Ensure water tank is positioned
correctly inside the appliance.
Unit may have frozen.
Unplug the unit and allow the
temperature to rise.
The Continuous Drainage
outlet is not plugged securely.
Ensure the plastic cap is securely
fastened to the Continuous Drainage
outlet.
Drain hose is not fitted
securely to the unit.
Ensure the hose is securely fastened
to the Continuous Drainage outlet
and there are no kinks or holes in the
hose.
