11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or a
heated oven.
12. Do not operate the appliance without water to avoid damaging
the heat elements.
13. Ensure that the kettle is placed on a level and flat surface out
of reach of children, to prevent the kettle from overturning and
to avoid damage or injury.
14. To protect against a fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not
immerse cord, electric plugs or kettle in water or other liquids.
15. While water is boiling, or just after the water has boiled, avoid
contact with steam from the spout.
16. Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully
without tipping the kettle too fast. Be careful when refilling the
kettle when it is hot.
17. Do not touch the hot surface. Use the handle or the button.
18. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance
containing hot water.
19. The use of accessories, which are not recommended by the
manufacturer, may result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
20. Unplug the appliance from the wall socket when not in use and
before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.
21. Do not use the appliance or the attached base for anything
other than its intended use, which is to boil water.
22. The kettle can only be used with the stand provided.
23. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may spill out.
24. Always ensure the lid is closed and do not lift it while the water
is boiling. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the
boiling cycle.
25. Do not use the appliance near facilities containing water, such as
bath tubs, showers or wash basins.
