PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) is a device (

power in a PoE setup. Maximum allowed continuous output power per such a
device in IEEE 802.3af is 15.4
W, and in IEEE 802.3at is 30

PD (Powered Device) is a PoE
-enabled terminal by PSE and thus consumes
energy. Examples include PoE IP phones, PoE IP cameras, and PoE wireless
